David Allen is a co-founder of Hawkesbury Partners with more than 25 years corporate advisory experience. David has been involved in the successful completion of over $2 billion of M&A, debt and equity transactions for Australian and international companies.
As a Managing Director at Hawkesbury Partners, David has led a number of successful client transactions with a focus on growth stage companies in the healthcare and technology sectors. This has included a number of successful private capital raisings, Pre IPO investments and public company secondary raisings.
In healthcare, David has worked with clients across a range of technology and service businesses with a focus on medical devices, diagnostics, e-health and health services providers. These clients have spanned the range of pre-clinical stage to clinical, regulatory approved and reimbursed technologies and businesses. David has completed transactions with a number of specialist healthcare industry investors and companies including Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Johnson & Johnson, Varex Imaging and Carestream.
David holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales and is admitted to the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia. David has been non-executive director of Independent Community Living Australia and an Industry Expert for Commercialisation Australia.
