Life Sciences Summit returns for 2027.
Life. Reimagined.

Life Sciences Summit 2027 is Aotearoa New Zealand’s national gathering for the life sciences ecosystem.

Held at Tākina Wellington from 16–17 March 2027, with the Touchdown Tour & Networking Drinks on 15 March, the Summit brings together the people and organisations working across the full innovation pipeline — from research and discovery through to investment, regulation, commercialisation and global growth.

Under the theme Life. Reimagined., the 2027 Summit will explore how biology and advanced technology are opening new possibilities across the four priority areas of New Zealand’s Science Investment Plan 2026–2036: Primary Industries & Bioeconomy, Technology for Prosperity, Environmental Sustainability & Resilience, and Healthy People & a Thriving Society.

Across keynotes, panels, masterclasses, showcases and networking opportunities, delegates will connect with the ideas, people and partnerships needed to turn scientific discovery into commercial and societal impact.

Created by BioTechNZ and Tech New Zealand, this is a must-attend event for researchers, innovators, policymakers, investors, and industry leaders committed to advancing the future of life sciences in New Zealand and beyond.
