Co-founder and Managing Director of EpiVets

Emma is the co-founder and Managing Director of EpiVets, a research and epidemiology business based in New Zealand and Australia. 

Emma started her career as a production animal veterinarian in Te Awamutu. Over a period of 10 years, Emma set up a research division within the veterinary practice she was working in, completed an epidemiology masters, PhD, and had four children. In 2022, Emma co-founded EpiVets, a business with 5 people, carrying out clinical research and statistical analysis. Four years later, EpiVets has a staff of 25, operates across NZ and Australia in regulatory services, clinical research in most species and epidemiology. Outside of working, Emma is a busy mum a keen runner, and an obsessive learner for business.
