Erica Hendrikse

Erica Hendrikse is a researcher at the Bioeconomy Science Institute, (previously within the Manaaki Whenua – Landcare Research group). She completed her PhD at the University of Auckland, focusing on molecular pharmacology and cell biology related to migraine. Her research spans a broad range of topics in cellular signalling and biological responses to chemical and environmental stressors. Erica’s current work is focused on developing novel scientific approaches to help protect New Zealand’s biodiversity from the impacts of invasive mammalian predators like rats, stoats and possums.
