My father and mother were kaumatua for many years in Wellington. When my father passed away in 2013, my mother roped me in, and, in what I think of now as a six-year apprenticeship, she schooled me to be a kaumatua like my father.

I am now a Wellington based cultural consultant and work with a number of organisations in the city as a kaumatua as well as a board member.

A commerce degree from Victoria University and a background in small business ownership, and property investment have given me a solid understanding of management, governance, and the mechanics of organisational success.
